Food and shopping

1. In which shop can you buy the following?
newspapers         a packet of aspirin                  meat                 a pair of glasses

Example: We can buy newspapers at the newsagent’s.

2. Your friend is new to the area. He has a list of items he wants to buy from different shops. Give him directions.

3. Speak about a traditional dish in your country. Use the questions as a plan.

4) What does it taste like? (delicious, spicy)

4. Discuss your shopping experiences with your partner.

- buy something you regretted afterwards
